Juliao (Hip) jū liáo · 居髎

Location. On the hip, at the midpoint of the line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and the most prominent part of the greater trochanter of the femur.

Category. Crossing point with the Yang Heel Vessel 交会穴（阳蹻脉）

"Liao" means a crevice or hollow beside a bone; the name refers to the depression beside the hip joint. Classical lists record this point as a crossing with the Yang Heel Vessel. The record is of position and of the vessel, not of an outcome.
