Xiyangguan xī yáng guān · 膝阳关

Location. On the lateral aspect of the knee, 3 cun above GB34, in the depression above the lateral epicondyle of the femur.

Named the "yang gate of the knee" after the passage the Gallbladder line makes past the outer knee. It should not be confused with the lumbar point of similar name, GV3, which is on the lower back. The name distinguishes locality, nothing else.
